We Recently Completed a Renovation to a Mid Century Modern Home in Delray Beach Florida...This home had no visible sense of entry (ie the front door was hidden from view) and guests tended to wander in via the open carport. Sloan & Sloan carefully removed a section of the cast ventilation screen to the courtyard and utilized it as a decorative element in this new entry feature. We then carefully inserted a new french door and sidelight to act as the new "front door" to the home.
